Two finishers screeding a fresh driveway pour at last light, raw concrete in the foreground running out to a smooth flat slab

A slab gets finished exactly once.

Which is why Anthony is standing on it, and not on the phone. Driveways, patios, retaining walls and foundations, poured and finished right across Ventura County.

What we pour

Eight things we do, and do properly.

Residential and commercial. Every photograph below is one of our own jobs in Ventura County, with no stock photography anywhere on this page. The crew that quotes your job is the crew that pours it.

A finished concrete driveway running clean up to a garage between a stone wall and a fence

Driveways & Aprons

Broken out, regraded, formed and poured on a compacted base, then jointed so it cracks on our line and not its own.

A large back yard slab scored into a regular grid of squares

Patios & Back Yards

Whole yards taken from dirt to a finished slab, scored on a grid and pitched so the water leaves the house.

A curving front walkway stamped and coloured to look like irregular flagstone

Walkways & Sidewalks

Paths and public sidewalk cut to the curve of the bed, formed in place and finished to match what is already there.

Poured concrete steps curving down into a pool shell with the forms still standing

Steps & Pool Decks

Risers cast in one pour with the edges run straight, and deck surfaces finished for wet feet rather than for a photo.

Braced timber formwork with snap ties standing ready to pour a concrete wall

Retaining Walls

Formed, braced and tied out in steel before anything is poured, because a wall that moves takes the yard with it.

Formed and steeled footing trenches dug around a framed structure

Footings & Foundations

Trenches dug to depth, formed and tied for additions, garages and new structures. The part nobody sees again.

A wide driveway finished in a deep terracotta colour and sealed to a wet gloss

Custom & Stamped Finishes

Broom, smooth trowel, salt, stamped flagstone, integral colour and sealer. The finish is what you look at for years.

A mini excavator breaking out an old driveway beside a stone retaining wall

Demolition & Repair

Old slab broken out and hauled off, or patched where a patch will genuinely hold. We will tell you which one it is.

The forty-year decision

Everything that matters happens before the truck arrives.

A finished slab hides its own workmanship, so here is the half you would never see. Anyone can pour concrete. This is the difference between forty years and four.

A graded and compacted dirt driveway pad, formed at the edges and ready for steel

Grade and base

Broken out, regraded and compacted before a single form goes down. Every slab that fails, failed here first; it just took four years to show.

A driveway formed and tied out with a full grid of reinforcing steel

A full mat of steel

Tied out across the whole pad, not one strip down the middle. It is among the cheapest parts of the job and the only one you cannot add later.

A smooth trowelled concrete surface with a single tooled control joint running across it

Joints on our line

Concrete cracks. Ours cracks where we tooled it to, on a straight line you were shown before the pour, instead of diagonally across your driveway.

Our work

Recent pours.

The demo, the grade, the steel, the pour, and the finish it wears for the next forty years. All of it his own crew, all of it in this county.

How it goes

From first call to final cure.

  1. Call, text or send a photo

A picture and a rough size is plenty. Anthony reads it himself and rings you back.

  2. He walks it and quotes it

On site, on the spot, free. A real number for your job, not a range off a website.

  3. Prep and form

Break-out, grading, base, forms and steel. A slab is decided before the truck ever arrives.

  4. Pour, joint and cure

Placed, screeded and finished in one go, joints cut on our line. Walk it in a day or two; keep the cars off for a week.
